American Council on Exercise ® (ACE) Certified Personal TrainerTime4You Personal Fitness: in-Home Training Updated Price List What makes us different? A look inside a Time4You Fitness Training Session
Traditional gym training session:
· ►Cardio on a Treadmill, Elliptical (or other cardio machine)
· ►Machine circuit (using primarily sagittal plane exercises) while a trainer holding a clipboard counts reps. ►Cool down/Stretching. There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with this approach and it can be effective… up to a point. The problem is this routine get pretty “routine”, which often means a loss of interest and eventual lack of participation. Additionally, machine based training is non-functional in that it isolates muscles in a uni-planer fashion rather than working the body synergistically in multiple planes of motion.
Time4You Fitness session: A Multi-disciplinary approach to fitness.
· ►Postural Alignment: Establishing body awareness and posture.
· ►Three dimensional active warm-ups: Dynamic movement in all three planes of motion.
· ►Dynamic Yoga: To enhance flexibility, strength and proprioception. *
· ►Movement Preparation: Specific movements that prepare the body for the conditioning work to follow.
· ►Conditioning: Modalities include kick boxing, aerobic stepping, agility ladder drills, X-work, partner medicine ball exercises etc. These are all modified to client’s current fitness level.
· ►Functional Fitness Circuit: Working in all three planes of motion, primarily full body resistance exercises utilizing elastic resistance, medicine balls, stability balls, BOSU balance trainer, free weights and bodyweight etc. The core is also constantly engaged.
· ►Cool down: based on the demands of the exercise session. Return to resting heart rate, reversal of blood shunt, balance musculoskeletal system.
· ►Relaxation: either seated or lying down, to help transition from workout to the rest of the day.
Program Design: One of the many unique aspects is our approach to program design. While we always make sure the body is worked in all three planes of movement, the specific exercises are varied from session to session. This way the client is constantly challenging their neuromuscular system as well as keeping them mentally engaged throughout each and every session.
Depending on the clients goals and level of fitness, various styles of circuit training may be utilized which yields superior conditioning benefits and caloric expenditure.
